The field of media is as vast as India. Same like India the media line also have many roots of professions originating form a very long time. As our nation has many states and union territories same like the media it has many different fields and areas of careers and professions. You just need openness of the mind to do wonders in the field of media.

These professions may include journalism, film making, advertising, radio, newspapers, magazines, online stuff, etc… as this statement is very true called, “NEVER MESS WITH PRESS”. All of the fields are like very important but a very interesting field in the media is film making.Film making is not new to our country; it is with us since the time of AlamAra.

But with the passage of time the techniques and procedure of film making has changed a lot. Earlier the techniques were very basic and simple but now they are highly modern and professional. There are many tools and machinery which helps to do the task more effectively and efficiently and in fact more than the expectation. The post production stage of the film making is very important as this is the time for the final outcome of the movie.

The most important part of post production is the editing. This editing part is very crucial as it require the skills of highly professional editors. There are many different types of software’s that are used by the editors to edit their films. These software’s includes Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, Velocity, Pinnacle Studio etc… and last but not the least the latest called Smoke. But for now the mostly used is the Final Cut Studio.

This software is very professional and technical too. An editor requires high profile professional training to operate it. There are many institutes who are offering many short and long term courses for these software’s. But mostly these courses get over in short courses only. Various institutes like ADMEC Multimedia Institute in Delhi, India etc… Offer specialized training in FCS.

They offer short term 4 months course as the training of these post production courses. There are many segment of the course which includes different subjects and topics. They tell you all the things ranging from the camera handling to the croma shoot. Form preparing the story board to budgeting. Form capturing the video to edit it on timeline. All these are the parts and features of the short term courses done in the field of Post production softwares and especially FCS.

Computers have become a very important part of our lives as now a day everything is computerized. You talk about any sector whether banking and insurance, aviation, hospitality, BPO, KPO, Science and Technology, etc in every field the use of computers is almost mandatory. The biggest example of this computer revolution is the expansion of E- Commerce in our country.

This E-Commerce includes many things like E-trade, E- shopping, E- Ticketing etc… But all of the above mentioned things are like just general but if we talk specifically about the media field then the computers are the base for the media industry to run. Without those things can not be done they way they are now.

The use of computers is very compulsory and mandatory in all of the fields of media. Whether you talk about audio-video film production or journalism, some ad agency or content writing it is required in every field. Another important area in which the use of computers is very important is the Graphic Designing and Animation. It also requires the computers as all the work is totally computer based.

The animation is required in mostly all of the films and TV shows. The opportunities are also very much in this area. The animation sector has a great scope in working. Many students has opted this animation field as their serious career track in life. There are many advertising agencies also who are looking forward for these kinds of professionals. They have to prepare ad films which are print as well as electronic.

For that they need aspiring professionals who can work for them as per the need and taste of their client. In the film industry also, there is a new trend of animated movies. Films like hanuman, avatar, Dashaavtra; Ghatothkach etc were very liked and appreciated by the people. It is just due to the increased trend of animation in the media industry. There are also many institutes who are offering various different courses to the students.

These courses vary from audio-video post production, to graphics and animation. Rest it all depends upon the taste and interest of the student. As the media industry is expanding its roots and stems in the Indian media market so more and more TV channels and production houses are coming. Many Ad Agencies are also coming into existence as the trend for animation and film making with never end and will always multiply.

Let’s be clear that this is not an article on how to interview, its about being interviewed and making the kind of impression that gets you to stand out from the crowd. Looking at the challenge of how to stand out in an interview, it strikes me that success is all about following a process – there are a number of steps to take if we want to succeed.

The first part is all about preparation. Interview preparation is the foundation for performance. Poor preparation almost inevitably relegates you to the “don’t consider” pile. Let’s identify the most important aspects of interview preparation. The first is understanding the job description. If there isn’t one provided, ask for one. Make no mistake, if you have a good understanding of the job description, you will be able to determine the skills required for the job.

Once you know the skills required, you’re able to tailor your cover letter as well as CV appropriately. The process of determining the skills from a job description is actually relatively simple. Just get hold of a list of skills and sit with a friend. You’ll be surprised at how quickly and accurately you can identify the necessary skills. The second important aspect of research is to understand the organisation you’re applying to join.

At minimum, you should know the sector the organisation operates in, its key products or services and the organisation’s reputation. This information is sufficient to mean you are unlikely to be exposed for lack of research. Far better though, is a good understanding of the organisation’s competitors, understanding of the major tenets of the strategy together with knowledge of major events within the organisation’s recent history.

This isn’t that difficult to find and it can be done in no more than 90 minutes. For public companies, the most recent annual financial statements in the Investors section on the website will provide lots of information about the market and strategy. Another good place to look is in the organisation’s press releases. Not only will the content be useful for your preparation, but you’ll be able to get a clear sense of how marketing oriented the company is based on the frequency of press releases.

A final and useful approach is to do some basic analysis of the company’s financial statements. You don’t have to be an accountant to do this. The basic process of comparing 2 years of results and looking at percentage increases or decreases is likely to give you some useful info. What about the skills for the actual interview? I’m going to go out on a limb and say that listening is as important as anything else. Being interviewed is partly about being able to answer questions well and partly the ability to understand where the interviewer is coming from.

Although the ability to create rapport doesn’t come naturally to everyone, the ability to create some warmth with the interviewer is invaluable. If its true that many interviewers make up their mind within 10 seconds whether you’re going to be a good candidate or not, then the ability to engage early on is vital. Its important to have some key messages (the ways in which you describe yourself) ready for the expected question/s.

Actually, thinking about it, this is probably the part of your preparation that will take the most time. Putting together some key messages about what makes you a good candidate for the opportunity will require real creativity and some navel gazing. It’s relatively easy to come up with some generic drivel that sounds like everyone else. It’s not so easy to sound original. That’s what you’re aiming for. So, arriving (on time) to the interview with the right qualifications is no longer enough.

There’s some serious preparation involved if you want to stand out from the competition. Of course, there’s always the additional option of getting yourself a personal coach.

“Elephant in the Room”. Parents see the topic as large and complicated because they generally had negative experiences in their youth and their kids see the issue as one best to avoid because they really don’t have any user friendly tools to help them to make progress. Getting to grips with the world of careers is best avoided or at least delayed until we no longer can delay for any longer!

One of the big issues is how best to balance who does what. By that, I mean who takes responsibility for progress in deciding on career choices and at what point “expert” advice is sought. It seems to me that there’s an ideal balance between an individual student and their career responsibilities and getting external help involved. For many students, outside help happens well before they’ve really tried to even think about the issues for themselves.

To me, this seems the wrong way around. It’s a bit like a consultant arriving at the doors of corporation X with a ready solution to their strategic problem but the board haven’t agreed that there is a strategy problem. Students need to be receptive to external help – in whatever form that arrives. Receptivity is best raised, in my view, by the student initially trying to make progress on their own, with any tools they can pick up on the web.

One of the problems at that age, is that you don’t know what you don’t know. So, students need to find tools that will help them to realise what they don’t know and improve their self – insight. It’s only once an individual has grappled with the issues on their own, made some progress and perhaps struggled in a particular area that this person is ready to engage with outside help.

I’m not only referring to the fact that the student now has a better feel for the questions they want to ask and have answered, I’m also referring to the fact that, having found the process challenging means that the student is far more likely to be receptive to advice and input from someone else. Once the student has engaged with an expert and had some of the difficult questions answered and pointers given to others, they are then “liberated” to make further progress on their own.

At this point, assuming that the student is starting to focus on several career options, research skills become important. So, I recommend a process that looks something like this:

1. Student need to grapple on their own and with some input from friends and family with questions such as ..”what career suits me best”, “how do I choose a career” and others. During this phase, the student needs to network to find useful tools to improve their self insight as well as insight into possible careers. In my view, the initial focus should be on self insight and then on understanding possible career options as this is a great way to get some focus

2. Then, once the student has made some progress and been frustrated in other areas, outside help is needed and will be more welcome. Although psychometric tests may have a role to play here, my view is that a more modern approach should be taken. By modern, I mean that the student is the customer and the ultimate decisions need to be taken by the customer. Students therefore need to be challenged and not condescended to. For a great example of a modern approach to career advice, check out the Career Foundations Programme

3. When this is complete and a clear focus has been agreed, it’s back to the student with an onus on researching careers in more detail, expanding their personal network in these areas and looking for internships and work experience opportunities.

Essay writing is a skill that some people have inherently, other people learn and still others struggle with even when they know the rules. Needing to pay for an essay does not mean that you are a bad person or trying to get around the system. It does mean that you care enough about your education that you are willing to do what it takes to get that education. Having to pay for an essay is fine, but you need to understand how at the same time. There are usually resources at your college, university or high school that will make the process easier. They have writing and style guides that clearly delineate some pretty confusing issues.

Most people have problems with the different styles, especially when it comes to references and in-text citations. APA and MLA are the two most common styles, but you may have no idea what they are when the teacher assigns you an essay that has to be written in one or the other. Actually they are easy if you are experienced, but that may mean that you will have to pay to have it done. The reason there is the stigma about paying to have an essay completed is that many people will get the essay through the email and never look at it themselves. Then the teacher sees that it is above the level of the rest of your writing and calls you on it. Now they are threatening to kick you out of the class or school because you have plagiarized.

The fact is that most people pay for the expert assistance. They don’t want someone to write it for them they just need some extra help that they cannot get from the instructor or classmates. They then resort to asking an expert to “write my essay” to make sure that they get it right. Then they will have the confidence to do it right the next time.Essay writing is a skill that you will need in your professional life because everyone writes reports for their job. Having a professional teach you how to do this make you a better candidate later on and improves the skills that you already have. In this example you can see that having to pay for an essay is fine and does not mean that you are somehow cheating your way through college.

It does mean that you are using all of the resources available to you to get the grades you need to be successful. So when you pay for an essay, from a reputable company like our site, you can know that you are improving your chances at a better job and your essay writing skills. The process of writing will be explained to you and you can make sure that you are doing it right instead of worrying about it.
