Radio controlled cars, or RC trucks as they are commonly named, are a fun pastime both for children and adults. Their operation is founded on the remote control system. Another kind of remote control trucks is wire connection trucks, but radio controlled cars enjoy greater popularity. RC trucks are usually divided into 2 groups: toy model cars designed for children and hobby-grade version which is designed for juveniles and adults.
These two versions of radio-controlled cars are different, but nevertheless have something in common. Both of them constitute copies of real life vehicles and are controlled through radio control. But there’re a number of distinctive features of these 2 variants. First of all, a toy variant is a solid plastic representation of the vehicle while the hobby-grade variant is very close to a real-life car in terms of outward appearance and individual parts.
The hobby-grade RC cars are constructed in the same manner like a real-life truck. Besides, this variant requires the same maintenance and service as if you were the owner of a normal vehicle. There are different ways of powering hobby-grade radio-controlled trucks. They may be electrically, petrol or even nitro powered. Making a decision which one to choose isn’t quite easy. All the versions have their pluses and minuses that should be carefully considered.
For instance, an electric powered RC truck will be lighter that a fuel run one, but the first will be slower than the last one. Anyway, these cars are so intricate, that any enthusiast will be able to change his electric truck into a fuel run one, or vice versa, without particular efforts.What is so particular about hobby-grade radio-controlled trucks that draws attention of numerous men of all ages to them? In general, it’s their intricacy. It is not a toy, it is actually a real truck, but very small.
Moreover, these radio controlled cars can be applied for racing and what man would refuse to be a racer? It’s much more fun than computer games, that’s the reason why radio-controlled cars are so attractive to big boys.Obviously, RC trucks are a wonderful way of spending time. Maine has some of the best smallmouth bass fishing around. Why wouldn’t it be great fishing with all the clear lakes and rivers. The smallmouth bass is a feisty little fighter when caught and you are trying to bring him to land. And there is nothing like the thrill of seeing this feisty fish jumping out of the water. The most popular arena for ghillie suits is by far the paintball and airsoft fields. The production of ghillie suits reflects that trend in that most of the newest innovations are geared toward paintball use. The newer suits are lighter, more durable, and provide more mobility than the older and heavier models. In the past , ghillie suits outside of the military applications, were built with hunters in mind.Many of them were one piece affairs that covered the entire body from head to toenail.
They were and still are great for still-hunting, but they didn’t lend themselves well to a lot of movement; especially fast movement. The newer suits don’t forget the hunter’s needs, as you can now get them with multiple pockets. Great for extra shells and snacks. Most of the new ones are two-piece affairs giving the user the option of being completely covered or just the upper body covered. That should appeal to anyone hunting from a blind. Blinds now come in ghillie material too.
A turkey-hunter behind a ghillie blind with a ghillie jacket on is in turkey-hunter heaven.Hunters and paintballers aren’t the only users of ghillie suits. A wildlife photographer or researcher is going to get amazingly close to his subjects if he/she sets up in a ghillie blind and wears at least a ghillie jacket and hood.The majority of birders ply their craft in ordinary street clothes. True, they can see a lot of birds using their binoculars. Those that choose to camouflage with a ghillie suit can, with a little patience see even more birds and quite often not need the binoculars at all.

If you don’t take it seriously, you’ll never be any good at it. Try to strike a balance. If you have to err one way or the other, go for fun. Some of you may have seen the footage about “urban camouflage” where a guy dressed up in stationery in an IKEA store. Sort of a ghillie suit. Those who didn’t take it seriously thought it was funny.One can dream up other uses for ghillies.
I’d like to covince my neighbor to cover his chain link in ghillie material. If there are any young campers reading this, I think it would be neat to take one along on the next family camping trip and scare the bajeebers out of the rest of the family, especially your annoying little sister. The ones with liners even work great as pajamas when it’s cold.
