Civil engineering is the first branch of engineering. Engineering is a science that deals with new and new topics every day. It is an area where continuous research takes place. It is through these researches, seminars and presentations each branch of Engineering grows. Same is the case of Civil Engineering also. Civil engineering which is the most popular branch of engineering is a subject of interest to al type of people.

In the Engineering Education period, a Civil engineering student will get exposed to some common lab machines such as UTM, survey equipments etc. There are much more complicated machines in the real construction field. It is only through dedicated research an Engineer can be able to understand the basic operating principles of these equipments. In the case of Civil Engineering what needed the most is Practical knowledge.

The Engineer must achieve enough exposure to the real world construction and maintenance activities. He must go to the construction sites to assist the senior Engineers. He also needs to involve in all the phases of construction from the planning level to the finishing and polishing. The Civil engineering seminars are necessary for an engineering student. Almost all engineering students need to swim in the pool of information to find effective topics for their seminar.

Seminars are inevitable parts of engineering curriculum. The scope of the civil Engineers is increasing daily. The demand for a Civil engineer is high because of the high rate of construction and maintenance. More and more engineering institutions are also being set up because of the high demand. The call for the civil Engineers from these institutions is also very high. An engineering student turns to an Engineer not in a single day. He became a qualified engineer through continues and self dedicated hard work and researches. In their four years studying they should prepare many kinds of seminars and projects and seminars.

They can prefer any kind of sources for the preparation of seminars and assignments. The teachers are only just facilitators in the case of engineering education. The rest has to be done by the student. He has to spend long hours of research in libraries and Internet referring various portions to find out which is new trends in the field of Civil Engineering. Study and research in Civil Engineering is a lifelong process. It never ends. New and new theorems are coming each day. A good Civil Engineer or Engineering student needs to track them all. He must be prepared with the resources such as websites, books, forums and libraries that provide the updates.

Computer science lessons as well as workshops on survey, foundry, smithy, carpentry, and electrical wiring and electronics circuits are done in the first year of the Engineering course. In the second and third year, detailed study of the core subjects will be done. In this period the students will be exposed to their specialized area.

They will conduct research on their subjects and formulate their own theories and assumptions. Experiments and observations are done on the proved one of great scientists. The final year of the Engineering is the year of Project, Seminar and Industrial visit. It is during the time of project and seminar, the true talent of a person comes outside. He will constantly work for making his project and seminar the best. When an Engineer sits before an Interview board, the first thing he needs to explain is about his seminar and project.

The seminars and the projects are having that much importance. An Engineering student needs to work hard for the selection of a good seminar topic and project. The topics chosen must be unique and update. He also needs to perform great researches to make the project and seminar successful. Internet is the best area for a technology aspirant to conduct his research. There are various websites favors the research and the doubts of the students. Discussions about every recent topic can be seen at various websites. The only thing the student has to do is to choose the best.

It is through Engineering, the creation, maintenance as well as destruction takes place. Engineers are the factors behind the new inventions and thus the progress of the country. There are various branches of Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Applied Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering etc. The branches of Engineering are innumerable. The areas that need the service of Engineers are very vast.

In all level of business and other industries engineers have there own image. Because without them an industry or firm will not make any profit or any changes in the field. Now lots of industries are providing large employment opportunities for Engineers, So that they don’t have any worry about their own future. Opportunities for engineers are very wide, they needs your technical talents only. They will help them for reach the peak of success.

The thing about ultra slim phones is that they usually come with some tradeoffs either in terms of features, functionality or in some cases, usability. However, that doesn’t seem to be the issue with the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic. When we saw it showcased the first time at Nokia’s GoPlay event earlier this year, it caught our attention with its slim form factor, bright colors and solid build quality.

But what impressed us most was its extensive range of music features. From onboard 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth stereo to a memory expansion card slot and dedicated music playback buttons, you’d be hard-pressed to find a music-phone as slim and feature-packed as the 5310 XpressMusic. There’s something about the 5310 that makes you want to pick it up to use. It may not be the most attractive-looking or the thinnest handset you can find in the market today.

But the combination of a 9.9mm-slim profile, bright color lines (red or blue) and a rather simple yet trendy design somehow makes the phone likeable for most people on first impressions. It also helps that once you pick it up, it’s got comfortable and solid feel. Many thin phones these days use a single port for charging, headset and data transfer.

This usually means you cannot do more than one task at anytime. The Nokia 5310 cell phone, however, comes with three individual ports onboard for each of the functions, including one for data transfer via microUSB. We were pleasantly surprised to find a port for a 3.5mm audio jack, especially on a sub-10mm slim phone. This must surely be one feature that will win the hearts of music junkies who like the freedom of using their own earphones.

On the back of the handset, you can find the 2-megapixel camera and two tiny speaker slits. The camera lens juts out slightly, so extra care will have to be taken to avoid scratches and cracks. There are no LED lights or self-portrait mirrors, so it’s a pretty basic feature-set for the camera. The microSD card slot is located under the battery cover. This means you have to remove the battery cover in order to access the card. Fortunately, the slot itself is located beside the SIM card slot and not underneath the battery, so there is no need to remove the battery as well.

An Internet search engine is a software programme designed to search for information on the Web. The search results are normally provided in the form of a list and are usually called hits. The information may comprise web pages, images, data and other types of files. Some search engines also accumulate information available in databases or open directories.

Unlike Internet directories that are maintained by human editors, search tools work algorithmically or are a mix of human and algorithmic input. Web search engines work by storing data about countless web pages which they retrieve from the WWW. These pages are retrieved by An Internet crawler, also known as a spider. It is an automated Web browser that follows every link it discovers.

Afterwards the content of each page is analyzed to decide how it should be indexed. Words, for instance, are taken from titles, headings or special fields called meta tags. Data about web pages are stored in an index catalogue for further use in queries. Some search engines, such as Google, store the whole or part of the source page (differently called a cache) as well as data about web pages, while others, such as AltaVista, store every word of every page they have found.

This cached page always contains the initial search text, as it is the one that was actually indexed. Thus, it can be very helpful because it comprises data that can no longer be found anywhere else on the Internet. When a web user types search words in the search field, the tool carries out checks on its index and displays a list of the most suitable web pages in accordance with its criteria, normally with a brief summary containing the title of the document and sometimes parts of the text. Some search tools have introduced an advanced option called proximity search that allows users to define the length between search terms.

The usefulness of a search engine hangs on the relevancy of the result set it provides. Since there can be millions of web pages containing a certain word or word combination, web pages can be grouped into relevant and irrelevant ones. The results can be ranked to show the “best” ones first. The way a search engine shows web pages varies from one engine to another. The techniques also alter with time, since the use of the Internet undergoes alterations and advanced techniques are developed.
